We seek partners for pilots to validate our non-toxic antifouling system using titanium and electrochemistry in real conditions.
Company
Madrid, SpainTitanium Technology (TiTech) develops and commercializes a patented antifouling system that prevents biofouling on submerged infrastructure through the combined use of titanium surfaces and electrochemistry. Unlike conventional methods that rely on toxic paints or frequent maintenance, our technology creates localized electrochemical conditions that prevent the formation of biofilms, the first step in marine fouling. The system is non-toxic, maintenance-free, and highly durable, making it ideal for use on propellers, seawater intake systems, heat exchangers, piping, and other critical marine components. Tested successfully in both the Mediterranean and North Sea, some of our installations have remained biofouling-free for over three years without any intervention. We serve industries such as shipping, aquaculture, desalination, and offshore energy, offering a clean, scalable alternative that improves efficiency, reduces emissions, and protects marine ecosystems. Our technology is protected by two international patents (PCT/EP2023/062912 and PCT/EP2023/078259) and is being developed in collaboration with leading research centers and industrial partners.
