Antonio BRAS MONTEIRO

Graduated from the Catholic University of Portugal, with advanced training from the European Security and Defence College, National Defence Institute, Military Academy, Military University Institute, Institute of Police Sciences and Homeland Security, NOVA University, Delft University of Technology, and the National Security Office. Holder of EU and NATO SECRET security clearance granted by the Portuguese National Security Authority. After early experience in intelligence with SolvX, I worked for several years at TEKEVER as Project Manager, contributing to European Commission security and defence research projects and NATO NIAG studies. I am currently Defence Expert at the EU Defence Innovation Scheme (DG DEFIS), Independent Expert Evaluator for the European Defence Fund (EDF), EDSTAR Expert Group Member at the European Defence Agency (EDA) for Air and Maritime Autonomous Systems, and Rapporteur to NATO Industrial Advisory Group studies. In parallel, I serve as Board Member of the National Defence Course Auditors Association and EuroDefense-Portugal, Special Correspondent and Editor-at-Large for European Security & Defence, Advisory Board Member at AED Cluster Portugal and IntellCorp, Editorial Board Member of Segurança & Defesa, and Partner for EU & NATO Affairs at Iberian Falcata.
