I am a proactive & innovative executive, an expert in Smart Sensors, Air Quality, Industry 4.0, Investor Relations, M&A and Sales with 17 years of experience internationally. I can demonstrate the ability to analyse viability, and interpret and present information on existing and potential investments. This includes experience in developing corporate strategy, business development, sales & marketing, capital raising and start-up disciplines.

I have successfully established several new business start-ups and completed numerous venture capital projects, M&A and private placements, with deals at the multi-million level. This includes working in renowned international companies such as Merrill Lynch and Amadeus.

As an entrepreneur, I created and developed MASSAM, a finance consulting company, Magna Navis Cruises, a niche cruise operation in Malta and China, a luxury vacation rental company and Alteria Automation, a high-tech company that designs smart sensors for industrial, environmental, logistics, infrastructure, aerospace and health predictive maintenance and real-time monitoring. Alteria has recently launched I-ON: an innovative air monitoring and disinfection (ultraviolet C) set of products based on smart sensors and real-time on-the-cloud traceability with alarms. The management of these companies involved extensive sales, business development, excel modelling, financings, corporate strategy and investor relations.

During my professional career, I have always been an inspirational and motivational leader, capable of managing up to 50 team members and leading recruitment drives. Furthermore, I have participated in financial communication campaigns, worldwide roadshows, sales and marketing projects, and led several training courses.

In my academic career, I was educated in some of the top schools in the United States and Europe (Georgetown University, Harvard University, Oxford University and Beau Soleil in Switzerland). I obtained honours graduations (cum laude) from Georgetown and Beau Soleil. Further, I lived in Spain (Madrid & Valencia), Switzerland (Villars-sur-Ollon), England (Worcester, Oxford & London), and the U.S. (Miami, Boston, DC & New York). I also spent extended periods in Shanghai and Malta.
