Semiconductors and microelectronics

We research on semiconductors and microelectronics. Specifically we develop infrared sensitive materials, photovoltaic devices, and in general devices based on silicon.

We are a research team with several laboratories with all types of fabrication, processing and characterization techniques related to the microelectronics chain. We are looking for partnerships and projects in the areas of semiconductor wafer to demonstrative prototype devices. This include projects or partnerships on the following specific areas: ion implantation, sputtering, e-beam and joule evaporation, CVD, RIE, optical lithography, RTA, laser annealing, chemical processing, wire-bonding, UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometry, Raman spectrophotometry, Hall effect and resistivity characterization with temperature variation, UV-Vis-IR optical photoresponse, lifetime characterization, solar cell simulator. We work mainly with silicon but we have experience and several research lines with Ge, GaAs and GaP.
