The UKRI AI Centre for Doctoral Training in Dependable and Deployable AI for Robotics (CDT-D2AIR), part of the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics, is a joint research initiative between Heriot-Watt University and the University of Edinburgh. CDT-D2AIR trains doctoral students in state-of-the-art methods in artificial intelligence, verification, design, and robotics, while also developing the practical skills needed to ensure that robotic systems can be safely designed, developed, and deployed.
