EXHIBITION - DAIMEX Baltic 2026
DAIMEX Baltic 2026 Exhibition Visitor Safety Rules and Agreement
1. Nature of the Exhibition
This is a closed, controlled demonstration conducted in an operational environment. This environment involves real operational risks comparable to a military training range, and may include:
-
Unmanned aircraft (drone/UAS) operations.
-
Drone interception and counter-UAS demonstrations.
-
Live or simulated firing (blank or live ammunition).
-
Pyrotechnics or explosive effects.
-
Movement of military vehicles and equipment.
2. Visitor Status and Acknowledgement
By entering the event area, each visitor confirms and understands that:
-
They have been informed that drone flights and military-type demonstrations will take place.
-
They voluntarily choose to attend, remain within the event area, and understand the associated risks.
-
For safety management purposes, all visitors are treated as “involved persons”—individuals who are informed of the risks, participate voluntarily, and can monitor the operation.
-
A “controlled ground area” is an area where only involved persons are present and where the organiser ensures safety control.
3. Safety Commands and Emergency Procedures
In case of any safety command such as “STOP” / “FREEZE” / “STAND STILL”, visitors must:
-
Immediately stop all movement and remain in place.
-
Await further instructions.
-
In case of emergency, follow public announcements, move only when instructed, and keep evacuation routes clear.
-
Never approach incident locations.
4. Operational Safety Rules
To maintain safety and your status as an involved person, you must adhere to the following:
General Conduct:
-
Follow all instructions from event staff, safety officers, and announcers immediately and without interpretation.
-
Maintain continuous situational awareness of the air and ground.
-
Keep children under strict supervision and avoid distractions (phones, filming) that reduce awareness.
-
Do not be under the influence of alcohol or substances impairing judgement.
Zone & Equipment Restrictions:
-
Remain within designated zones; entry into restricted, fenced, or operational zones is strictly prohibited.
-
Never cross vehicle paths or restricted routes.
-
Do not bring or operate any unauthorized drones, radios, transmitting devices, or laser pointers.
Hazardous Materials:
-
Fragments, debris, or equipment parts may fall; never approach, touch, or collect any object.
-
Such objects may be hot, sharp, electrically charged, or explosive.
-
Use hearing protection during firing or pyrotechnic demonstrations if required.
5. Regulatory Framework
This event is conducted in accordance with safety principles applicable to unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operations under the Specific Category (EASA) and the SORA methodology. The framework is further aligned with the General Silvestras Žukauskas training area usage rules, including:
-
Operation within controlled areas.
-
Mandatory safety briefings and immediate suspension of activities in case of safety risks (e.g., loss of control or failure of communication).
6. Organiser Rights
The organiser reserves the right to:
-
Stop or modify demonstrations at any time.
-
Restrict movement or introduce additional safety measures based on real-time risk assessment.
-
Remove any person not complying with safety rules or behavioural requirements.
7. Personal Responsibility and Liability Waiver
By entering, the visitor acknowledges that despite all safety measures, residual risks cannot be eliminated.
-
The visitor assumes all risks associated with participation.
-
The visitor waives and releases the organiser, partners, and staff from liability for injury, damage, or loss arising from failure to comply with rules, intentional/negligent behaviour, or entering restricted areas.
-
This waiver does not apply in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8. Final Acknowledgement
By entering the DAIMEX Baltic 2026 event area, I confirm that I accept the associated risks, will remain attentive to the surroundings, and will comply with all safety instructions immediately as an informed and involved person.
