ARVI, the Fishing Shipowners Cooperative from the Port of Vigo (Spain), represents 166 associated fishing vessels from 128 different shipowners, and shares operations with 5 Fishing Associations and 3 Fishery Producer Organizations, with Headquarters and Registered Offices in the Port of Vigo. All of them participate in the Extractive and Production Fishing Sector Cluster, which focuses on technology and research. ARVI and the Vigo-based Associations of Shipowners and Fishing Producer Organizations have succeeded in forming the most important group of fishing vessel owners and entities in Spain and one of the most important in the EU. These organizations are both national and international in scope, with fleets operating in all the world's seas in their quest to supply the main global fish markets.
