Brest Port is located on the western coast of France. With state-of-the-art facilities and strategic connections to major shipping routes, the port is one maritime and energy hub integrated in the core TEN-T network. The company just produced its development and investment plans for the next 40 years. Innovation and cooperation are part of the strategy to adress the various challenges ports are currently facing; energy transition, digitalisation, competitiveness, attractiveness, environmental preservation. BrestPort is therefore partner of several Eu projects adressing these challenges : Green Supply Chain/ HYDEA/ North Sea H2 Valley Ports : on energy transition, working with other ports, shipping, energy, logistics and finance industries to define road maps towards green fuels, OverHeat (H2020) : on the digitalisation of port and maritime services starting from standard e-navigation tools & targetting digital twin., DIOL: on the development of offshore wind energy in the North Sea, working with a network of ports/airports, technology providers to prototype efficient distributed logistic and surveillance services for the OW industry.

About me

Fabienne Vallée previously worked 10 years for the telecom and space industry before working as R&D and international cooperation manager for the maritime sector, first in a science park and now at BrestPort.

Fabienne Vallee is also shareholder and director of a French-German company, SeaTopic. SeaTopic is a business & innovation development platform specialised on ocean data and applications of digital maritime information systems (S-100).
