For two decades, Mutual Value Labs has helped businesses turn purpose into practice to solve societal challenges while driving sustainable, profitable growth.

My organisation

The Economics of Mutuality is a proven operating model that drives superior value creation through impact-led management practices.  Powered by digital tools, it equips companies to generate enduring mutual value for the benefit of multiple stakeholders by addressing societal and environmental challenges. Practical and scalable, the model enhances business performance by embedding purpose-driven strategies and metrics into day-to-day operations.  The Economics of Mutuality operating model emerged from a multi-year business innovation program developed by Mars that engaged a range of cross-sector partners including Oxford University’s Saïd Business School. The program delivered proof of concept practical application across business units, sectors, and markets along with teaching curricula and case studies. The team behind the program spun out of Mars in 2020 to advance and implement the operating model more widely.

About me

I joined the Economics of Mutuality Alliance as Director of Growth in in 2025. I support the development of strategic client relationships through Mutual Value Labs.

Prior to joining the Alliance, I spent over a decade in legal market research, working closely with law firms and corporate clients on benchmarking, thought leadership, and industry analysis. I was also at a leading US consulting firm, where I focused on client engagement in financial services.

I hold a degree in Economics from the University of York and a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute. I have a keen interest in sustainability and have contributed to various legal and business publications on topics related to responsible business practices.

Originally from Liverpool, UK, I lived and worked in China between 2009-2013 and am deeply interested in bridging the Asia-Europe gap.
