About
Başaran Teknoloji is a Turkish technology SME specializing in industrial additive manufacturing, with capabilities covering Large-Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM), HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), FDM and SLA technologies.
Our LFAM infrastructure is based on a robotic Caracol HERON system with a KUKA industrial robot, enabling the production of large-scale components using pellet-based thermoplastic materials, including fibre-reinforced, recycled and bio-based material systems. Our capabilities include Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM), CAD adaptation, process planning, slicing, robotic manufacturing, post-processing and production of functional prototypes, tooling and large-scale demonstrators.
Başaran Teknoloji is particularly interested in R&D projects addressing lightweight structures, composite additive manufacturing, sustainable and recycled materials, optimized manufacturing processes, large-scale tooling, design optimization and hybrid manufacturing concepts.
We aim to participate in international collaborative R&D projects not only as a manufacturing service provider, but as an active technology and development partner contributing to process development, DfAM, material/process trials, prototype and demonstrator manufacturing, testing and industrial validation.
For the Eureka Lightweighting Call 2026, we are interested in connecting with companies, research institutes and universities developing innovative lightweight products or manufacturing technologies where large-format polymer/composite additive manufacturing can provide technical and commercial value.
Topic(s) of interest for R&D on Lightweighting
Development and testing of lightweighting design and manufacturing conceptsDevelopment and use of novel or alternative advanced lightweight materials including optimized manufacturing processesSubstitution of conventional (raw-)materials with sustainable and lightweighting alternatives with a lower ecological footprint
