About
Başaran Technology is a Türkiye-based SME specialised in industrial additive manufacturing and advanced manufacturing applications. The company supports customers from design review and manufacturability assessment to prototype production, process development and pilot-scale manufacturing.
Our main focus for the Eureka Lightweighting Call is large-format additive manufacturing (LFAM) for lightweight polymer and composite applications. With LFAM capabilities, Başaran can contribute to the development and validation of large-scale demonstrators, tooling, molds, patterns, fixtures, functional parts and lightweight structures using thermoplastic and composite materials. This may include composite manufacturing tooling applications, such as large molds and autoclave-related tooling, where material, temperature and process requirements are suitable. In addition to LFAM, the company also has experience with HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) and FDM technologies for functional polymer prototypes, end-use parts and design validation.
Başaran can support international consortia in design for additive manufacturing (DfAM), material-process trials, print strategy development, parameter optimisation, prototype and demonstrator production, post-processing coordination, and industrial feasibility assessment. For LFAM parts, the company can also contribute to post-processing and finishing strategies, including dimensional finishing through CNC machining via its partner network, as well as in-house surface improvement, preparation and polishing capabilities where applicable.
The company is particularly interested in projects involving recycled or bio-based polymer composites, lightweight structures, circular manufacturing, mobility applications, industrial equipment, public-use products and AM-enabled low-volume production.
Başaran also brings management-level experience in EU-funded R&D projects, consortium building and project implementation. Through its ecosystem in Türkiye, the company can access academic expertise, testing and laboratory infrastructure, and complementary industrial partners for material development, mechanical testing, design validation and lifecycle-oriented project activities.
