About
DIASOL R&D Engineering Inc. is seeking industrial companies, research organisations and universities interested in collaborative R&D projects focused on advanced surface alloying and hard coating technologies for next-generation metallic materials and components.
Our core technology is a proprietary Cold-Wall Plasma-Assisted Diffusion Alloying process that enables the incorporation of alloying elements directly into metallic surfaces, creating engineered surface layers with enhanced wear resistance, corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, thermal stability and functional performance while preserving the bulk properties of the substrate.
The technology can be applied to aluminium, titanium, magnesium, advanced steels, stainless steels, nickel-based alloys and other engineering materials. Compared with conventional bulk alloy manufacturing routes, the process offers opportunities for improved material efficiency, reduced consumption of critical alloying elements and application-specific surface functionalisation.
In addition to diffusion-based surface alloying, DIASOL possesses extensive expertise in hard coatings, nanocomposite coatings, multilayer coating architectures, anodizing, plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO), micro-arc oxidation (MAO) and functional thin films. These technologies can be tailored for demanding industrial applications requiring superior durability, corrosion resistance, conductivity and surface performance.
Potential application areas include aerospace, automotive, transportation, hydrogen technologies, fuel cells, energy systems, medical devices and advanced manufacturing.
We are particularly interested in partners involved in:
• Advanced metallic materials
• Lightweight engineering solutions
• Surface engineering and coatings
• Hydrogen and fuel cell technologies
• Aerospace and transportation applications
• Corrosion and wear protection
• Functional and conductive surfaces
• Pilot-scale validation and industrial demonstration
We welcome component manufacturers, OEMs, end-users, universities, research organisations and technology developers interested in building international consortia under Eureka, Horizon Europe, Eurostars and related collaborative R&D programmes.
