Expert in production process development for viral pharmaceuticals incl. analytics
Team lead process technologies for virus-based therapies at Fraunhofer IGB
Stuttgart, Germany
About
The Virus-based Therapies group, at Fraunhofer IGB (Germany), focuses on the full process development from viral target to CMC with GMP compliance. In our labs we can handle all common, e.g., AAV, AdV, LV, and uncommon viral targets up to BSL2 and epizootic diseases.
We have expertise in all fields of processing: From the selection of a suitable cell line, media, and upstream processing set-up, to filtration and chromatography purification, virus stability, analytics development, and formulation. With our partners at the Fraunhofer IZI, we can transfer the production process into the Fraunhofer owned GMP production facilities, e.g., for the manufacturing of clinical material. All processing steps are developed to be GMP-compliant.
