Linux operating system for safety applications
Safety Software Engineer at Red Hat
Erlangen, Germany
About
Red Hat is developing a functional safety certified Linux for the automotive industry (ISO 26262), and is interested in investigating the feasibility of transfer to other industries, i.e. for IEC 61508.
I'm looking for projects where a deployment of Linux as a safety relevant operating system could be of interest, usually when the safety function gets complex or involves the use of COTS hardware and/or accelerators
