I am a lecturer at the University of Liverpool, working on separation and purification, water circularity, and resource recovery for bio-based industries.
I am a lecturer in Environmental Engineering at the University of Liverpool. I have an Associate Professorship in Environmental Science and Engineering, a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (Korea), M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from Akdeniz Ăśniversitesi (TĂĽrkiye), and B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from Orta DoÄźu Teknik Ăśniversitesi (TĂĽrkiye).
My primary research interests are separation and purification technologies, resource recovery, new and emerging water treatment technologies, anti-microbial resistance in agroecosystems, water resource management, and waste management. Up to now, I have coordinated nine different projects related to separation and purification, valuable material recovery, anti-microbial resistance, microplastics, membrane synthesis, and application to various areas. Besides, I took part as a researcher in different projects related to river basin management, solid waste management, water treatment technologies, and environmental impact assessment.
