Centrifugal Bubble-Free Electrolyzer

Building patent-pending centrifugal bubble-free electrolyzers. The device circulates the electrolyte using rotational energy. This means it doesn't need separate pumps or cooling systems, which saves on CAPEX. The unique stack design prevents gas bubbles from forming on the electrode surfaces. This boosts electrolyzer efficiency to 96% and significantly lowers degradation.

This electrolyzer can also work with an axial flux generator. This setup allows it to connect directly to rotating renewable energy sources. For instance, the electrolyzer-generator can be installed in a wind turbine's nacelle. This would let us produce hydrogen completely off-grid and the costs to build and operate the device would be even lower. You wouldn't need to cover grid connection costs or rely on grid electricity. In this case, our estimates for LCOH are approximately 1.81-1.94$/kg.
