EU Finance Day 2026 - Berlin
10 June 2026|
Europäisches Haus Berlin, Unter den Linden 78, 10117 Berlin, Germany
Registration open until 10 Jun 2026
As the global economy evolves, strengthening Europe’s competitiveness remains a central priority. The European Commission is advancing a comprehensive agenda to improve access to finance, foster innovation, and support sustainable industrial growth across the Single Market. Building on key initiatives such as the Competitiveness Compass and the Clean Industrial Deal, efforts are focused on mobilising investment, simplifying regulatory frameworks, and accelerating the green and digital transitions that underpin Europe’s long-term prosperity.
In this context, particular attention is being given to the development of the forthcoming European Competitiveness Fund, which aims to reinforce Europe’s technological leadership and unlock financing for strategic sectors. At the same time, discussions are increasingly focusing on the role of private capital in supporting competitiveness, including how institutional investors such as pension funds can better contribute to long-term investment in European industry.
Against this backdrop, the EU Finance Days 2026: Financing Competitiveness series highlights how European and national stakeholders can work together to expand financing opportunities and translate commitments into tangible impact. The Berlin event on 10 June 2026 will bring together policymakers, financial institutions, investors, and industry representatives to explore three key dimensions: advancing the European Competitiveness Fund, mobilising pension fund investment, and scaling up sustainable finance solutions to drive Europe’s competitiveness agenda forward.
