Shuttle Bridge Logistics has moved freight between the Far East and Europe since 2004. The group is privately owned and independently operated, with its UK base at London Heathrow and its Belgian operation at Grâce-Hollogne, on the doorstep of Liège Airport.
What makes us useful to cross-border e-commerce sellers, and to fellow forwarders, is that we hold customs authorisations on both sides of the Channel in our own name, and run the physical operation behind them.
In Belgium, through Shuttle Bridge Logistics SRL: temporary storage, authorised consignor and authorised consignee for Union transit, special-model seals, the BE-GATE e-commerce simplification, H7 clearance for low-value consignments, a customs representative registration, and an article 55 global VAT number for import VAT. Belgian entry, transit and e-commerce clearance are handled in-house.
In the UK, through Shuttle Bridge Logistics Ltd, an AEO-certified customs broker: CDS import and export declarations across all UK ports, T1 and T2 NCTS transit, ETSF and CFSP bonded warehousing, CAA-regulated export consolidation, pick-and-pack fulfilment, and parcel distribution built on a ten-year DPD partnership.
Origin matters as much as destination. We have a China-based team and long-standing relationships with Chinese consolidators, so a shipment can be controlled from the point it is booked in Shenzhen through to the doorstep in the UK or the EU. We work in English and Mandarin.
At the forum we are looking for three things: e-commerce sellers who would rather deal with one operator across the EU-UK customs border than two; airlines, handlers and forwarders at Liège with volume that needs a UK leg; and forwarders who want reciprocal agency, where we cover the UK and China ends and they cover theirs.
