WEEECycling

WEEECycling is an independent French industrial group specialising in the recovery and refining of precious and critical metals from Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and complex industrial residues. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Tourville-les-Ifs, Normandy (France), the group operates an integrated 15-hectare industrial site with approximately 160 employees, covering the full value chain from reception, characterisation and pre-processing of end-of-life electronics through to metal recovery and refining.

Our plant combines pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical capabilities on a single site, enabling the recovery of copper, gold, silver, platinum-group metals and critical raw materials such as gallium and tantalum from printed circuit boards, electronic components and other CRM-bearing waste streams. This integrated position — recycler, processor and refiner — is rare in Europe and allows us to host, test and industrialise new recovery routes under real operating conditions.

WEEECycling is actively engaged in the European critical raw materials agenda (Critical Raw Materials Act, Clean Industrial Deal) and in French national programmes (France 2030), and is developing an ambitious R&D roadmap.

We are seeking to join or coordinate Horizon Europe and LIFE consortia where we can contribute industrial WEEE treatment capacity, pilot and demonstration environments, deep metallurgical process expertise, and downstream validation of recovered materials.
