About

ICARBON is working on "Advanced Recycling Technologies" to ensure that waste from the polymer industry is reused in production with an efficiency of over 90%. ICARBON uses its developed hydrothermal technology and catalyst systems to advanced recycle waste from the polymer industry, where classical recycling methods are insufficient and fail to produce sustainable solutions. Our hydrothermal technology is recognized under the umbrella of technologies called "Advanced Recycling" and is among the leading technologies in green chemistry that take recycling technologies much further. With the technological processes we have developed, we can successfully use all elastomer groups (patented in Türkiye), polyurethane, composite, polyolefin group plastics, silicone, technical textiles, and renewable energy sources (wind turbines, solar panels, etc.) in their depolymerization. With our developed technological process, we are able to recover the most basic raw materials of these polymeric wastes in high purity and develop advanced materials.

We were established 4 years ago and managed to receive an investment from SABANCI ARF with a valuation of 2.8 million dollars in March  2025. We will use this investment to support our large pilot productions.

Icarbon knows very well that the recycling processes of the future do not consist of large factories where everyone's waste is processed in a single process and then released to the market. It is not possible to offer the resulting products to the entire industry in a uniform way. This is where we step in and develop technological solutions and sustainable materials specific to each polymer industry.
