HEMEXPO – Hellenic Marine Equipment Manufacturers and Exporters – is the association representing Greek manufacturers (33 companies), technology providers and exporters of marine equipment and maritime solutions. Its members cover a wide range of activities, including environmental technologies, ship equipment, electrical and automation systems, digital maritime solutions, sensors, HVAC, heat exchangers, safety equipment, engineering and advanced manufacturing.

HEMEXPO’s mission is to strengthen the international competitiveness, innovation capacity and export activity of the Greek maritime equipment industry. In Horizon Europe and other EU-funded projects, HEMEXPO can act as an industrial cluster, dissemination and exploitation partner, stakeholder engagement facilitator and bridge between research, technology development and market uptake.

HEMEXPO is particularly relevant to projects on maritime decarbonisation, ship and port electrification, shore power, onboard carbon capture, energy-saving devices, digital twins, AI-based vessel performance, predictive maintenance, smart sensors, power quality, cybersecurity, circularity and clean maritime technologies.

Through its network, HEMEXPO can support pilot validation, industrial needs analysis, end-user engagement, exploitation planning, commercialisation pathways and dissemination to the wider maritime sector. For Horizon matchmaking, HEMEXPO is interested in joining consortia focused on green and digital maritime innovation, zero-emission waterborne transport, sustainable ship equipment, resilient maritime supply chains and skills development.
