Overview KÜN drives the green transition by integrating technological innovation with societal transformation (SSH). Aligned with the EU Clean Industrial Deal, we offer targeted R&D solutions for industrial decarbonization while addressing the crucial behavioral dimensions of these technologies.

Key R&D & Expertise Areas

  • Clean Aviation & Alternative Fuels: R&D on hydrogen-assisted combustion techniques and testing SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) / biogas in mini jet engines and UAVs.

  • Sustainable Materials: Synthesizing bio-based, biodegradable polymers to replace fossil-based raw materials in industrial packaging.

  • Societal Impact (SSH): Our Environmental Humanities Center analyzes public acceptance, social integration, and behavioral adaptation to emerging clean technologies.

  • Eco-Innovation: Actively managing a national climate database, driving "Zero Waste" policies, and developing circular economy models (e.g., the EcoFilm platform).

Strategic Value for the Clean Transition We provide practical testing of clean fuels in small-scale turbines, build "green skills" for local stakeholders, and ensure the societal adoption of green industrial technologies.
