Interoperable smart buildings in the energy system integration
Head of Research and Innovation at Nowocert
Dublin, Ireland
About
This project will revolutionise the integration of buildings with energy carriers by providing technological, regulatory and business support to strengthen their role in flexibility and ancillary service provision. The demos cover residential, commercial, industrial and public buildings. Two general market solutions will be developed in the demos, energy community and contract-based, empowered by flexibility and energy marketplaces. The technical features distinguish the demos: positive energy district, zero energy buildings, hydrogen, district heating, microgrid buildings, recovery of wasted heat, vehicle-to-grid, and shared mobility.
