About
Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) is a higher education institution operating in the Kanta-Häme region of Finland. Our SmartBio research environment includes a dedicated research group focusing on soil processes for sustainable industry. Their goal is to develop solutions that support nutrient recycling, carbon sequestration and soil health, as well as help land users optimize their operations from the perspective of the environment and productivity. This work includes the development of measurement systems and digital platforms that can be used to monitor soil condition, carbon sequestration and the impact of farming on the environment. We are looking for consortia preparing projects for the Soil Mission call topics.
