Quality of Life, survivorship and palliative care (Session A)
The session will explore how engagement with adolescents and young adults (AYA) in cancer survivorship is advancing holistic care, with particular emphasis on mental health, return-to-work challenges, and addressing stigma. It will highlight the development of the European Cancer Patient Digital Centre, which will also include a mental health module, discussing how patient-reported outcome and experience measures (PROMs and PREMs) can be systematically collected to inform clinical practice and policy. Synergies with other ongoing initiatives, such as the Transforming Healthcare Systems (THCS) partnership will also be addressed.
