FAIR Capacity Building Programme
FAIR Development and Capacity Building Coordinator at GO FAIR Foundation
Leiden, Netherlands
About
The capacity building programme starts with an introduction to the FAIR Principles through the FAIR Awareness course.
The first point of the framework focuses on developing and maintaining FAIR Implementation Profiles, or fips, which document community choices of FAIR-supporting resources.
These profiles help identify implementation gaps and guide the development of domain-relevant, machine-actionable metadata schemas and vocabularies.
Once data are FAIRified, they can be put into action through software and services, a step known as FAIR orchestration.
The GO FAIR Foundation offers implementers, workshop facilitators and trainers a series of interconnected training modules providing up to 180 hours of training.
