There are many reasons for wanting to do so, on the one hand to address some of the legitimate concerns about the use of AI generally and in science specifically, and on the other to leverage the experience and efforts of others to make such use discoverable, reusable, and accessible. In short, it aims to make the application of AI in the research landscape FAIR.
