VibeARP – Data Steward Assistant
Software Architect at HUN-REN SZTAKI

About
VibeARP offers a familiar chat interface enhanced with custom UI elements and an AI agent designed to help users create RO-Crate packages and upload them to Dataverse. Users can describe the dataset they want to create, and the VibeARP agent provides tools to automate the process.
One tool performs web searches, another downloads and extracts information from relevant web pages, and additional tools assemble the appropriate RO-Crate metadata JSON by aligning collected information with the correct metadata schema loaded from the schema registry. Whenever the metadata JSON is updated, the VibeARP chat UI displays an embedded AROMA RO-Crate Editor – a streamlined version of the tool used in ARP – giving users constant visual feedback on the agent’s output and allowing them to manually edit the RO-Crate metadata whenever needed.
Users may also upload dataset files via VibeARP; the agent can extract information from these as well, enriching its context and helping generate more precise metadata.
In addition to web search, VibeARP includes its own integrated web browser for interacting directly with web content. It can use this browser AI agent to perform tasks requiring interactive web operations, such as clicking buttons or retrieving dynamically generated information unavailable to search engines.
