Seeking Partners to Co-Develop and Bring Professional Bicycle Washing to Market

JuzzBike is looking for complementary organisations to collaborate on the further development, validation, industrialisation and market introduction of a new professional bicycle-washing solution.

JuzzBike is developing a compact, automated system that washes bicycles efficiently and damage-free, without brushes or high-pressure cleaning. The concept combines professional bicycle cleaning with attention to water efficiency, wastewater capture, eco-design, repairability and long-term durability.

The project is currently moving from MVP development towards real-world testing and market validation, with the first professional testing planned from 2027. We are therefore looking for organisations that can contribute expertise, technology, testing capacity, production knowledge or access to relevant users and markets.

Potential areas of cooperation

We are particularly interested in organisations with expertise in:

• Mechanical and mechatronic engineering, including actuators, movement systems, compact mechanisms and automation.

• Water and wastewater technology, especially compact filtration and oil separation for bicycle-washing wastewater.

• Product development and industrialisation, including design for manufacturing, assembly, maintenance and European production.

• Materials and eco-design, with a focus on durable, repairable and more sustainable solutions.

• Testing and validation, particularly with bicycle shops, leasing fleets, rental companies, mobility providers or other professional users.

• Market and commercial development, including pilot locations, distribution, service concepts and access to professional bicycle markets.

• Innovation and funded projects, where JuzzBike can cooperate with complementary organisations on research, development and demonstration activities.

What we are looking for

We are not simply looking for suppliers. We are interested in active development partnerships where both organisations can contribute knowledge and expertise and where the cooperation can lead to a practical, scalable solution.

A partnership could focus on a specific technical challenge, such as developing a compact filtration system or actuator solution, but could also grow into a broader development, pilot or industrialisation partnership.

We are particularly interested in keeping the development and industrialisation as close to the European market as possible. The aim is to build a robust product that can be manufactured, maintained and further developed within a reliable European partner network.

JuzzBike brings an identified market need, a defined product concept, ongoing MVP development, knowledge of professional bicycle use and access to potential pilot environments. The project is being developed with input from bicycle professionals and potential users, allowing technical solutions to be tested against real operational requirements.
