About

We need: (1) a UK‑registered Administrative Lead and (2) at least one SME to apply to Energy Catalyst R11 Early Stage (3–12 months). We bring a working prototype, a pilot site and a Colombia‑based technical team.

BioPower Pig is ready to form a consortium and apply to Energy Catalyst Round 11 – Early Stage. The programme requires a UK‑registered Administrative Lead and participation of at least one SME, with typical project durations of 3–12 months and total eligible costs between £50k and £300k, starting on 1 August 2026. We seek a UK Administrative Lead to manage the application and financial administration (hub‑and‑spoke) and an SME to contribute capabilities in: (a) design/validation of a safe low‑pressure biogas buffer, (b) electrical protection and load control to prevent peak shutdowns, (c) minimum instrumentation and product standardisation for modular manufacturing, and (d) route‑to‑market and scale‑up. We contribute a working farm prototype (4 hp generator adapted to biogas, ~2 kW typical), a test site and local delivery capacity, and an ODA‑impact approach with embedded GEDSI actions. Expected outcome: a replicable kit with verified technical and social evidence ready for Mid Stage progression.
