LyteGro makes microbial growth enhancers from waste bananas which improve the sustainability, yield and process time of biologically-based production processes
LyteGro produces BacLyte, a patented extract made from banana waste that acts as "steroids for microbes," turbocharging industrial bio-processes by reducing run time and doubling biomass - delivering the opportunity of a cheap, immediate and CAPEX-free expansion of production capabilities to the bio-industries.
BacLyte, and the products derived from it accelerates the growth and metabolism of bacteria and yeast used in industrial processes such as fermentation, biomass generation and biofuel production.
Our products have been industry validated and shown to enable massive savings in process time, feedstock and water usage – making production both more profitable and sustainable.
There is nothing currently in the market which demonstrates BacLyte’s combined effects of:
1) Reducing the time taken for microbes to “wake up” and start replicating - enabling fermentations to start earlier so enabling shorter production cycles
2) Speeding up the rate of microbial replication; meaning that you get more microbes quicker – again boosting production
3) Enabling more densely packed cultures (i.e. more cells per litre) - doubling the microbes producing product to significantly increase yield
4) Facilitating the growth of microbes in much simpler culture media thereby cutting costs and enabling easier isolation and purification of products.
BacLyte enables industry to grow things faster and cheaper and improves product yields. It also enables users to get more from the same feedstock which enables further cost savings and reduced water usage. BacLyte makes the bio-industries more profitable and sustainable whilst offering a CAPEX-free way of expanding production output.
We are now at full commercial production of two grades of material and are actively seeking to connect with companies across the fermentation industries to offer free trials of our products.
