I obtained my PhD from Universidad de La Rioja (Spain) in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Elena Lalinde with a Doctoral Fellowship from the Spanish Research Council (C.S.I.C.). I also conducted research visits to the groups of Prof. Tong Ren (Purdue University, USA) and Prof. Piero Mastrorilli (Politecnico di Bari, Italy). My achievements during this period were recognized with the “Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado” (Award for the Most Outstanding PhD in Science, 2012) from Universidad de La Rioja.
Following my PhD, I completed two postdoctoral appointments: one at the University of Manchester (January 2013–June 2016) and the second with at the University of Calgary (July 2016–July 2017). During these appointments, I carried out collaborative work involving Hyper-Rayleigh scattering (HRS) spectroscopy and Stark spectroscopy, in partnership with Prof. K. Clays (KU Leuven University, Belgium) and Dr. B. S. Brunschwig (California Institute of Technology, USA).
After my postdoctoral training, I worked as a researcher and later as a project manager at FREDsense Technologies, where I was involved in developing innovative sensor technologies. Currently, I serve as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Envirohemp, where I am also a project manager, leading initiatives that bridge scientific innovation with practical applications in environmental sustainability.
