Welcome to the Dutch-Nordic battery webinar and matchmaking event!

Innovation and sustainability are at the heart of the battery business in both the Nordics and the Netherlands. While the Netherlands has innovative next-generation battery materials and decades-long expertise in manufacturing, the Nordics offer advanced battery cell and pack production, minerals and applications, to name a few. As the demand for electrification in transport and other sectors grows, international partnerships in battery technology and related products and services become key. This event is to explore the complementarities and business opportunities in the battery value chains between the Netherlands and the Nordics, and to offer an opportunity to network online on a dedicated platform.

Questions to be answered in the program:

  • What are the Nordics' and the Netherlands' strong suits when it comes to battery value chains?

  • What kind of complementarities and trade opportunities exist between the Netherlands and the Nordics?

  • What role do battery innovations and next-generation batteries play in Europe's competitiveness?
