Adaptive Reuse and Housing Provision

We are looking to join or co-develop a cross-cutting adaptive reuse proposal, primarily within the Circular Urban Economies (CUE) transition pathway, with a particular interest in the Circular Built Environment area of action.

Our main interest is the adaptive reuse and transformation of existing buildings for housing provision as a resource-efficient and low-carbon alternative to new construction.

We are particularly interested in collaborations that combine technical, environmental, governance, and urban development perspectives.

Our expertise includes sustainable renovation, life-cycle assessment (LCA), energy efficiency, stakeholder collaboration, digitalisation, and sustainability in the construction and real-estate sectors. Our expertise also includes project and construction management, particularly the interaction between municipal planning processes and the industrial and organisational conditions shaping sustainable urban development.

We can also help bring municipal and regional authority partners from northern Sweden (the Swedish sub-Arctic), including the rapidly growing Luleå-Boden region, where the green industrial transition is increasing the demand for sustainable and affordable housing solutions in attractive locations.
