About
Green Nudges Consulting (GNC) applies behavioural science to real urban sustainability problems: waste sorting, energy use, food choices, everyday local consumption. We combine COM-B diagnostics with creative intervention design and business case thinking, turning insight into pilots that actually change what people do, not just what they know.
Recent work: a citywide organic waste sorting intervention in Berlin (with district authority Neukölln and partner agency New Standards), guest-side food waste diagnostics for Accor Hotels, and a reusable cup behaviour programme with RECUP.
Our founder curates green-nudges.com, the world's largest open library of green behavioural interventions, 150+ documented cases from cities, companies and researchers worldwide.
We're looking to join a DUT Call 2026 consortium as the behavioural science partner, ideally alongside a coordinating research organisation and a participating municipality. We bring the human-behaviour work package: barrier diagnosis, intervention design and testing, either for circular resource flows, energy behaviour in housing, or local everyday economies.
