Through our Smart City Lab, students and researchers engage with cutting-edge topics such as vehicular networks, UAV-assisted mobility, energy-aware traffic management, and autonomous driving using platforms like Duckietown. Simulation tools such as SUMO and network emulation environments support scenario-based learning and experimentation in areas like intelligent traffic light control, multi-modal transport, and edge-enabled decision making. We foster a practical, research-driven environment that connects students with real-world challenges and positions Neapolis at the forefront of urban technology and mobility innovation in Cyprus and beyond.
