About
The University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings of CTU (UCEEB) was founded in 2012 with the contribution of the European Fund for Regional Development and the state budget of the Czech Republic as a response to requirements for reducing the energy efficiency of buildings. Our building in Buštěhrad was opened two years later. We are an independent research institute of the Czech Technical University in Prague and a national centre of competence in the field of sustainable buildings. We work in teams across disciplines. We consciously participate in shaping the construction industry of the future. Our goal is buildings and their technologies that are friendly to nature, supporting the sustainable development of society and providing their users with a healthy and comfortable indoor environment.
