Oscar is a senior academic specialising in human–technology relations and behaviour change. His interdisciplinary work connects transport, communication, and AI, with a focus on how people respond to risk, misinformation, and new mobility measures. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications, shaped safety and mobility policy internationally, and leads projects on technology misuse, cognitive safety, and public trust. Oscar is committed to mentoring diverse researchers and advancing ethical, human-centred design to support fair and inclusive urban transitions.
