About
Our team is seeking to join a consortium under PED Topic 3: PEDs in Urban Heating and Cooling Strategies. We offer expertise in assessing the future impacts of climate change on urban energy systems and building energy performance, with a focus on AI-driven modelling and prediction. We develop and apply artificial intelligence tools to analyze the complex relationships between climate change, district energy systems, and energy use in buildings. Our research combines building physics, urban climatology, and energy systems analysis to explore how changing climatic conditions, urban heat islands, and extreme weather events influence heating and cooling demand, renewable energy integration, and system resilience. We provide data-driven insights and scenario-based tools to support climate-resilient PED design, contributing to the digital and sustainable transformation of urban heating and cooling networks.
