Looking for project - Offering microclimate & tree modelling expertise
About
Hi! I am a PhD researcher at Ghent University. With our research group Q-ForestLab at we offer expertise in:
-
Urban green mapping via remote sensing
-
tree structure modelling using LiDAR (TLS, MLS, ALS)
-
microclimate modelling (human thermal comfort)
My PhD project is focused on modeling the link between green infrastructure and human thermal comfort. In this call I am interested to go beyond urban green mapping: incorporating all ecosystem services and the link with practice. How can we efficienty manage existing and implement new urban greenery?
