While operating under the legal scheme of in-house concession as an entirely public company-which provides for the participation of only public administrations in the management of the company, thanks to its 300 employees and its water network of 4.865 km, ATS is responsible for taking water from the sources of production, purifying and distributing it to all users, domestic and non-domestic. It engages in the operation and maintenance of 1.595 km of sewer networks, and wastewater treatment to clean up the water before returning it to the environment. In all of these steps, water quality is constantly monitored, thanks to analyses conducted by specialized laboratories. In addition to the activities of withdrawal, purification, distribution, and treatment of the water used, ATS also promotes a sustainable circular economy and therefore continues to strive to improve effectiveness and efficiency in service delivery with goals of reducing impacts and costs related to the environment and society.
