Coordination at FedeAU - Federation for Urban Agriculture Professionals in Brussels
Brussels, Belgium
About
We are a Federation of sutainable urban agricultors, and we are looking for opportunities to work on access to public procurement for sustainable local agricultors:
We would be interested in reseach on what role can public procurement play in fostering local, resilient supply chains that support circular urban agriculture. Therefore, leading on-the-field research to highlight :
- all the obstacles faced by small urban producers in responding to public procurement
- all the opportunities public procurement could play for fostering local sustainable small scale agriculture
- end up with recommendations for urban agricultors and for public authorities to facilitate food public procurements access for urban agricultors
Two target audiences: public authorities and urban farmers
We are open to join projects with a wider scope than urban agriculture.
