Digital Decanters is a Serbian non-government organization dedicated to providing creative digital solutions across various fields, including education, sports, tourism, and more. Operating at the intersection of digital innovation and rural development, our mission is to empower communities, offering tailored digital solutions and expert-led training. We focus on promoting the rich cultural, agricultural, and social potentials of rural areas while fostering sustainable growth. Our training programs cover cutting-edge technologies such as AI, machine learning, UX/UI design, 3D tools, and much more. Through digitalization, we aim to develop communities and decant knowledge to make a lasting difference. The organization is located in the city of Nis, which is known for its rich cultural heritage and picturesque landscapes. Despite the potential of rural areas in Serbia, they are often overlooked and in need of attention. Digital Decanters works to bridge the gap between rural and modern life, utilizing the latest digital technologies. One of the primary goals of Digital Decanters is to develop digital skills among children, youth, and adults in various fields, including education, culture, sport, tourism, entrepreneurship, agrarian processes, and rural areas. The organization is committed to promoting digitalization and innovation while preserving traditional culture and heritage. Through its numerous projects, Digital Decanters has been able to showcase the potential of rural areas in Serbia and connect them with the modern world. Digital Decanters also focuses on promoting circular and active tourism in rural areas. Showcasing the beauty and potential of rural areas in Serbia, the organization aims to attract more tourists and promote sustainable tourism practices. Through gamification, Digital Decanters encourages tourists to engage with rural communities and learn about their culture and traditions. Cloud Architecture (AWS) — Well-Architected, cost-optimized, and resilient systems; serverless and containerized stacks; IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), managed data services, event streaming, and global deployments. Applied AI/ML — Custom model training and fine-tuning, safe integration of foundation models into production, retrieval-augmented generation, agent design and training, evaluation pipelines, prompt engineering, and MLOps. Geospatial & Mapping (GIS) — Map data processing, tiling, vector/raster pipelines, route analysis, and spatial analytics; performant map UX across web and mobile. Image Processing & Photogrammetry — Classical and deep-learning pipelines for segmentation, detection, and enhancement; high-fidelity 3D photogrammetry model creation from aerial/ground imagery. Digital Twins, XR & AR Visualization — Data-driven digital twins with real-time telemetry; immersive visualization and interaction in XR/AR for inspection, training, and decision support. Real-World Simulation — Scenario authoring and simulation in Unity and NVIDIA Omniverse, synthetic data generation, physics-based environments, and pipeline integration with AI systems. Enablement & Training — Hands-on workshops and training programs for AI tools and workflows, adoption playbooks, governance and best practices, and co-development sprints with client teams.
