EthicAI University Ecosystem

EthicAI University Ecosystem aims to transform UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence into a practical, university-based implementation model for higher education institutions. The project focuses on creating a sustainable AI ethics ecosystem that supports responsible, inclusive, transparent, and human-centered use of artificial intelligence in teaching, learning, research, and institutional processes.

Within this framework, academic staff will be empowered as responsible AI leaders who can guide students in the ethical, critical, and effective use of AI technologies. Students will be encouraged to become ethical digital citizens through peer-learning activities, awareness sessions, workshops, and applied AI ethics practices. The project also aims to strengthen the awareness of families and the wider community by supporting them in becoming more informed and conscious digital guides.

The project will develop training materials, ethical AI guidelines, awareness activities, and university-level implementation tools. By integrating AI ethics into the university culture, the project seeks to promote responsible innovation, academic integrity, data privacy awareness, algorithmic fairness, digital responsibility, and safe AI use.
