Our research team specialises in the integration of Hybrid Intelligence, Virtual Reality (VR), Conversational AI, and Knowledge Graph technologies within museums and cultural heritage institutions. We are committed to transforming museum learning and cultural exploration by creating immersive, inclusive, and interactive experiences that engage diverse audiences. Our mission is to make cultural heritage universally accessible, reflective of diverse perspectives, and engaging for all, particularly for adolescents and underrepresented communities.

Through close collaboration with European museums, visual artists, and professionals—especially those who are descendants of enslaved African people from former colonies—we prioritise authentic representation and polyvocality. Our projects give voice to diverse perspectives, ensuring that marginalised histories are thoughtfully and ethically included, fostering empathy, social inclusion, and understanding.

We leverage Hybrid Intelligence to design intelligent virtual guides that adapt to individual needs, learning styles, and preferences, providing personalised and impactful interactions. By gathering real-time user feedback and utilising advanced AI algorithms, we enable museums to continuously refine and adapt their content, making it more relevant and engaging. Our expertise in multimodal interaction techniques allows us to create VR experiences that respond dynamically to users’ behaviour, including eye gaze, gestures, and voice, offering an immersive and responsive learning environment.
