Photovoltaic lightweight modules
Sales manager at SunOyster Systems
Halstenbek, Germany
About
SunOyster's lightweight solar modules have a tempered glass front. They are glued directly to the roof, eliminating the need for a traditional substructure or ballasting. The low weight of typically only 5 kg/m² enables PV expansion on the roof surfaces of many commercial halls and public buildings with load restrictions. This means that roofs that were previously considered unsuitable for solar energy can now be used in an economically attractive way – with 22.2% efficiency and low installation costs on almost all roof surfaces – from sanded bitumen, PVC foil, FPO, Eternit, trapezoidal sheet metal, and even sloped roofs and facades.
-
Ideal for roofs with load restrictions or structural limitations
-
Versatile use on flat roofs, barrel roofs, and facades
-
Direct bonding WITHOUT roof penetration
-
All certifications as for conventional PV modules, e.g., 30-year performance guarantee
-
Quick and easy installation
