MICROBOTIC designs and manufactures electronic hardware for other companies: PCB design, firmware, prototypes, SMT/THT assembly and complete device assembly, from the first units to series production. Everything under one roof in Obrowo near Toruń, Poland, EU. Since 2016 we have served 600+ customers and completed 2,100+ projects.

What we do:

You can join at any stage – with an idea, a specification, an existing board without documentation, or ready production files.

• Hardware design: schematic, component selection, PCB layout, 3D model for approval

• Firmware for your devices

• Prototypes: short runs for validation before the design is frozen

• Manufacturing: PCB fabrication, component sourcing, SMT and THT assembly, AOI inspection

• Box-build: final assembly, programming, testing, ESD packaging, repeat series

Drones and UAVs

We have already worked on electronics for drone projects (under NDA, so no names here). For drone, UAV and robotics companies we can:

• design or improve control, sensor, payload, power or communication boards

• take your existing design (Gerber, BOM, Pick&Place) into production in the EU

• act as a second source or overflow capacity next to your own production

• deliver hardware assembled in the EU with traceable component sourcing, where the origin of electronics matters to your customers

Production

• Two SMT lines in an EPA (ESD-protected) zone: an automatic line (01005 to BGA/QFN and fine-pitch, boards up to 1000 × 520 mm) and a separate line for prototypes and short runs

• THT: automatic wave soldering and a dip soldering station for larger boards

• SPI closed-loop, profiled reflow, AI-based AOI, traceability (code reading, SPC, MES export); X-ray via an external partner

• Assembly to IPC-A-61, continuous training of our skilled employees

• Components from authorised distributors by default; substitutes only with your approval

• No minimum order quantity

How we work

We can start with an NDA first, if you need it. Your IP stays yours - when you commission and pay for a design, the files and rights belong to you.

Transparent quotes: components, assembly and setup costs as separate items.

Design and production are in one building, so problems are diagnosed by one team.

You talk directly to the people running your project, not to a layer of account managers.

If an off-the-shelf module makes more sense than a custom design (or vice-versa), we tell you before you spend your money.
