Ringmounts

It is an interchangeable modular concept. We offer off-the-shelf Ringmount solutions, but we also understand that many of our clients have unique requirements. Therefore, it is possible to customise the final Ringmount configuration to meet the exact needs of the customer.

All Ringmounts are motorised by default with an electric operating system which can be EMC modified. They are built on the platform of our base models and can be customised according to customers’ needs. If the needs change over time, the Ringmount is a modular and upgradable concept, which means that it can be adapted to a variety of weapons by changing the Softmount or A-Frame.

Gunner Protection Kits or any other accessories can also be added later in the process.

The modular and motorised Ringmounts can be adapted to a variety of configurations without the need for garage facilities by changing, for example, the A-frame or Softmount. SIMA recommends the motorised Ringmounts for easier use even on slopes and in heavy terrain.

The Ringmount can be purchased as a manual version – which can later be upgraded to motorised for easier use. Every Ringmount is delivered with an A-Frame to which you can add the Softmount with the weapon.

As standard, the Ringmount is produced with an A-Frame 12-7, but if it is to be used with a P20, a special A-frame is needed (see Accessories).
