IloNovi

IloNovi is an association dedicated to making art, culture, and wellbeing more accessible through digital technologies. At the heart of our operations is the IloNovi 3D virtual house—a dynamic online environment where people, communities, and professionals can encounter art, culture, and each other regardless of location or background. Our aim is to reduce digital inequality and enable everyone to participate in and enjoy the inspiration, learning, and community that art and culture can offer—whether or not they possess digital skills. We believe that art and culture play an essential role in building wellbeing for individuals and communities.

In practice, we carry out development and innovation projects, support the growth of digital skills, and create new forms of participation together with partners in Finland and internationally. We build digital platforms and communities, organize events, trainings, and competitions, and share best practices across the sector.

We recognize that digital life and new virtual environments are becoming an ever-larger part of future society and urban living. That’s why we want to ensure that everyone has the chance to be involved in shaping these environments and building our shared future, regardless of their background or abilities.

Our "AI unelmien Uusimaa?" project is building a stronger innovation ecosystem by combining the possibilities of art, culture, and artificial intelligence. The project creates new collaboration models between creative industries and businesses while developing AI solutions for artists and cultural sector professionals. This strengthens Uusimaa’s position as a pioneer in digital and creative fields.

Our goal is to build a sustainable cultural ecosystem that brings joy, wellbeing, and participation to an ever-wider audience—both in Finland and internationally.
