TourismusMarketing Niedersachsen GmbH (TMN) is the central point of contact for tourism in Lower Saxony. The company was founded in 2001 on behalf of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economics, Transport and Building. TMN is a wholly-owned state company. TMN receives its funding of 3.5 million euros from its sole shareholder, the state of Lower Saxony. The Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board is Ministerial Director Claudia Simon. The managing director is Meike Zumbrock. The TMN is supported and advised by the Supervisory Board and the Shareholders' Meeting. Its main task is to develop and implement measures for the future-oriented positioning of Lower Saxony in the national and international tourism competition together with the regional tourism stakeholders. The focus of the marketing work is primarily on the German-speaking and selected international target markets.
